Senator Cortez Masto Introduces SBA Franchise Loan Transparency Act

July 31, 2019 By admin

Today, July 31, 2019, Senator Cortez Masto (NV) introduced S.2383, The Small Business Administration Franchise Loan Transparency Act of 2019.  MFOA would like to personally thank the Senator and her staff for their efforts to protect franchisee interests.

You can read her press release here.

For Keith Miller’s testimony in advance of this legislation being introduced, watch here.

It’s now time for franchisees to engage their Senators to have this legislation heard in committee, and ultimately passed. Call Senators Collins (202) 224-2523 and King (202) 224-5344 to ask them to cosponsor S.2383.
